DYLAN DEBEL 12th IN E-3 AT CANADA WEC ROUND
Team Husaberg had an impressive showing at the Canadian WEC round at Parry Sound, Ontario over the weekend of July 15-16, 2006.
Riding with some of the best European off-roaders, Husaberg USA factory rider Dylan Debel joined forces with the European and Canadian Husaberg factory teams to pull off a strong showing for the brand at the WEC.
In the E-3 class, riding against KTM's David Knight who pulled out the #1 spot and Gas Gas rider Seb Guillaume who nabbed 3rd, the Husaberg team was led by Bjorne Carlsson in E-3 who grabbed the #7 spot. Husaberg rider Daniel Persson took 9th with American Dylan Debel taking 12th. A very good showing for an American in the European dominated event.
Very difficult, rocky, almost trials-like terrain was a challenge to all of the riders, but the caliber of the riders at the event made this very difficult terrain look almost easy.
We'll have a report on the next round of the WEC from Hancock, NY on July 22-23. The first time in many years such an event has been held in the USA.
Check out the awesome helmet cam video of Dylans ride through the X'Treme test at Parry Sound. |

Team Husaberg is showing Minnesota and North Dakota what racing, and winning, on a Husaberg is all about. After coming off a 4th place finish in Monticello this spring, Dylan Debel came back at Arkansaw and put his Husaberg right up in front of the pack. Travis Johnson also moved himself up from a 9th place overall finish at Monti, to a 6th place finish at Arkansaw. Congratulations to both riders! Keep up the good work, and keep those Husabergs out in front!
Meanwhile, Husaberg rider Robby Wysuph took 8th in Open B at Monticello after recovering from a bad crash.
Robby started the year on a high note at the Swamp Fox H.S. in Bismarck taking 2nd place right behind Mike McAllister in the Open B class and even entering his full enduro Husaberg in a Motocross at Buffalo River Race Park. It's a good start to a very promising season for Husaberg in Minnesota! Be part of the action!
