Here is a list of all TV stations available on the Cork City cable TV
service (now 'Chorus Multichannel'). Note: some satellite channel updates for the cable list are still pending. Unlike most cable services in Ireland, a set-top decoder is required to view the 'basic' service channels. However RTE1, NETWORK2, TV3, TG4, and CHORUS SPORTS/LOCAL CHANNEL, are not scrambled.
Therefore Cable viewers' whose decoder becomes faulty or whose "subscription has lapsed" can continue to view these channels without the decoder by connecting cable connection directly to VCR/TV.
