We took a stroll along the streets and took a peek at the lake, hoping that it would not be as crowded as the previous day, but unfortunately, it was.
So we decided to continue our journey, this time eastwards, through the Yorkshire Dales.

| Before we left the lake district, we visited Windermere and The World of Beatrix Potter. Her sketches were fantastic! We took a stroll along the streets and took a peek at the lake, hoping that it would not be as crowded as the previous day, but unfortunately, it was. | The Dales were absolutely beautiful. I fell in love with them quite immediately - the winding, narrow roads (which Liam had to manoeuvre in a manual car), the unending stone walls, and the quiet farms. The Dales were dotted with old, stone farm houses and the villages sometimes consisted of 2 farmhouses. Gloriously rural and ancient. I knew immediately that I would revisit Yorkshire one day quite soon, and on a much longer trip! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Liam likes to take pictures of me eating. Perhaps it's because I eat a lot of the time! This was me enjoying (even though it doesn't look like it) a wonderful brie and beef sandwich in a window seat of a lovely little cafe/furniture shop.
