Amazing
I'm listening to the song Amazing by Point
of Grace and I realize that being in love is the same feeling as
being overwhelmed and awestruck by beauty. Being in love is like
the emotional version of the feeling of sunlight. It has all the
familiarity of nature, yet it also has all of nature's newness and complexity.
You love someone for who they are, all the while wanting to know who they
are so you can love them more. It's like the emotional version of
seeing something or someone attractive and being fascinated by it.
To truly live, you have to love. It's what makes life amazing.
I remember this same feeling just knowing I was loved and just
amazed by the world. No matter how old I get, I never will know everything,
so I'll always be amazed. I'll never see it all. I'm in love
with life, amazed at learning, and silently inspired by my love.
I love so many things. Life is beautiful. Somehow I just know
everything is right and will be right. I just know.
