5/11-5/24: More vet, turning out for the first time, emails from Powder River Rodeo, leading solo, and learning to longe.

5/25-6/11: My first Spirit related injury, sacking out with a tarp, moving down to Parker, trotting in hand, got bucked off, turned Spirit out with Shaman and Springer.

6/28-7/14: Roached mane, working in hand, more sacking out, vet out to preg check, longing, and leading outside the pasture.

7/24-8/13: Moved horses again, Spirit loaded into a smaller trailer, working on the hind feet, first time wearing a sheet, first time wormed conventionally, first time walking around out of the pasture at the new barn. Images: mare29.jpg, mare30.jpg, mare31.jpg, mare32.jpg

10/6-10/22: Leading without a halter, working on the right hind, picking out all four feet, new goals, clippers, and boots.

10/19-1/30/01: Meeting mom, all four feet trimmed, some undersaddle work, and weird kick thing/bloody hole.
