Rebels Of Keiran

Whitney rested her head on his shoulder while he held her for a long moment.  Zach slowly pulled away once more and looked into her eyes.  He gently covered her mouth with his and kissed her.  Whitney felt her heart skip a beat and she slowly returned the gentle kiss.  He drew away and looked back into her eyes.  Whitney couldn't help but to think one hundred thoughts at that particular moment.  Zach leaned closer and was about to kiss her again when she pulled away and backed up a couple of steps.  She looked at the object within her hands and sank into thought a moment.
You know what bothers me the most, Zach? she whispered softly then
looked back at him.  It's the way I treated Brent.  I mean, he was a jerk because I was one too.  She was silent a moment.  Damn it, I can't believe he was on our side the entire time.  I accused him of so many things.  Do you want to know the worst part?
            What? he asked softly.
I miss him.  I cant believe I actually miss the bastard.  She looked into Zachs eyes.  Im sorry, Zach.  Youre a wonderful man, but I want Brent.
Zach stared at her a long moment.  He inhaled deeply and forced a tiny smile.  Someone is heard in the corridor.  Zach springs to the door and peers outside.  He frowns.
Its Frazer--he doesnt look very happy, Zach announced then backed away from the door.
The guards unlocked the door and forced Zach to remain back while Frazer and another guard removed Whitney from the cell.  Frazer grabbed Whitneys arm and shook her harshly.  You bitch!  You gave us some sort of recipes!
Zach attempted to fight the guards to help Whitney but one of the guards hit him in the stomach with the butt of his laser gun.  Whitney saw Zach fall but couldn't help him.
You'll give me the plans I want!  Frazer glanced at the guard.  Stay here.  If I don't find the location of the plans, I want you to kill her friends in one hour.  Start with the woman.
             Whitney struggled in anger.
Frazer threw her up against the wall with his own body pinning her.  Go ahead, try to escape.  You're friends will be killed instantly, Frazer growled lowly.  The general wants to see you.
Whitney was forced to leave and all but one guard followed.  She headed up the steps with a laser gun in her back.  She still had the pill within her hand but it was well hidden.  They headed down a hall two levels up and went straight for what used to be the ballroom.  The two guards opened the door for Frazer and Whitney.  The two guards remained outside and closed the doors behind them.  Whitney saw a rather large man sitting in a big chair at the other end of the ballroom.  He was an alien general according to what Frazer had told her.
The big man slowly leaned forward in his chair to get a better look at Whitney.  This female is one of our worst enemies? he asked sounding somewhat disappointed.  She doesn't look very threatening to me.
Believe me, Sir, she's as big a threat as any two men, Frazer explained to the general.
The general leaned back in his chair.  I see.  What do you intend to do with her?
We need to get the plans from her.  She gave us nothing more then junk, Frazer informed him.
Why not just search for the plans in the original location? the general asked skeptically.
We speculate Brent Valdemar has them, Frazer remarked simply.
Why wasn't I told this? the general suddenly demanded to know.  I'll order his home searched and him killed if we find it there!
His property is like a fort, Frazer explained simply.  He has alien sensory lasers hooked up everywhere.  They pick up on your double heart beat and low blood pressure.  An alien stepping foot on his property would immediately be incinerated.
A slight smile crossed Whitney's face.  That little smart ass.  Maybe she had judged him too harshly.
Easily enough remedied.  We'll just order his entire estate blown into dust from our space station, the general remarked simply.
Whitney bit her lip.  She wanted to tell them it wasn't there so they would spare Brent, but that would ruin the surprise attack on the space station and risk many rebel lives.  He's lying to you, Whitney announced.  He has the plans already.  I had them on me and he took them along with the fake ones.  He would love for you to destroy Brent's home and any proof that he already has them.
Frazer shook his head and laughed.  Permission to kill her?
Granted, but please do it somewhere else, the general announced.
I swear he's lying to you, she cried out while Frazer pulled her from the room.  You fool!  He's not on your side!  He's on his own side!
Frazer pulled her completely from the room.  The guards closed the door behind them.  Frazer suddenly struck her harshly across the face.  You little bitch!  You'll pay for that!
He motioned for a guard to accompany them down the hallway.  They headed up the stairs and into another hallway.  He stopped by one of the rooms and opened the door then turned to the guard.
Post guard on this door until I tell you otherwise.  I don't want any disruptions, Frazer warned the guard angrily.  He forced Whitney into the room and closed the door behind them.

Ryon Maxwell watched the two space crafts take off from their small, make shift, landing field.  Fighting could still be heard in the distance.  Ryon sighed with pride.
Another town on the verge of being reclaimed, Ryon remarked simply, and perhaps the entire alien space station will be next.  He glanced back toward the outskirts of town.  Men, it's almost sunrise.  Our comrades are conquering the enemy and we have a promise to keep at a certain mansion.
Are we storming the castle? one of the rebels asked curiously with eager anticipation.
Ryon looked at the man and smiled proudly.  Yes, we are.  Two of our finest comrades are on their own right now, and we're going to help them take down the entire mansion and the general himself.
There was a round of cheers.

The band of rebels moved along the wooded area while heading back toward the mansion.  They only had twenty-five rebels to storm the mansion, but that would be more then enough.  Just before the sun came up, they saw the open gate beyond the cemetery.  Ryon pointed it out.
There it is.  Whitney said it would be there.  Once inside, I want fifteen upstairs and ten to storm the dungeon.  We're looking for two, young women and one masked mutant.  I'm going in with the first group.  Are we ready?
There was movement within the woods.  The rebels spun around with their guns aimed.  Denny stood near a tree holding his laser gun.  He had a satisfied grin on his face.  Ryon sighed with relief and lowered his weapon.
