Site Details

Working with Fidelity Investments was pleasant experience. They were organized and knew how to prioritize projects so the IS staff was able to maximize our output. It was quite the experience. Most of the work done includes technologies such as ASP, JavaScript, VBScript and SQL.

This site was created to help managers with the administration of thier action plans. This application allowed for a central location that was accessible by all qualified managers. It also provided ideas for best practices.

I was responsible mostly for logic programming, security, database design and development. This application included a login page where the user would have to be verified against a employee database to have access to the restricted part of the application. Once they were deemed to be an eligible employee they were verified against a local database I developed for the administrators. This Access database contained all names of qualified users of this site. I also providered support on all questions required to maintain this password-restricted database.

First time users of the site were required to create an account and once doing so they gained access to this applications many features. Some of these features include:

  • Log in / Log out
  • Email forgotten password to registered users
  • Change password information at any time while visiting as an authorized user.
  • Smart, sleek Navigation tools to guide the user between screens
  • Ability of each manager to view all action plans of their direct reports
  • Ability for each user to store up to ten action plans with easy to use forms
  • Edit screen reports all action plans as stored in employee database with instant updates
  • Verification of all actions before submitting changes
  • Ability to select all or only specific plans to view on screen as a report
  • Ability to print these customized reports in a formatted printable version
