We developed this site to streamline the employee award nomination process. These awards are given to employees who demonstrate above average performance and dedication to their job. The process was done manually and this form would make it accessible to all employees with access to the intranet.

Here is the overall logic of steps a user took to nominate a fellow employee for an award. Users entered their ID number and that number was verified by the corporate database. Users were then given a small form where they would state the nominee's full or partial first or last name and would receive a list of possible employees throughout the firm who fit this criteria. User data was automatically populated on the form and users were allowed to select the name of the person they were nominating. The information of this transaction was forwarded to various parties including the employee and their managers with a custom designed e-mail notice. This application assisted the departments who supplied the awards and the managers who distributed them.
