FINANCIERS		ACTORS Do you dream big? Do you have the potentail to become an actor? Do you long for a place in the limelight? Do you want to be a Bollywood STAR? If your answer is yes to any of the above questions than you must answer this very important question(to yourself) Do I have the talent to do it? If your answer is again yes then let me first congratulate you since you could be next sensation!!! Now comes the bad news. It takes more than talent to be successful in not just films but in any business. You require self-belief, a bit of good luck(more than a bit), that hunger and drive to succeed, and the right contacts. This does not mean that people without much contacts can't make it. But I'll have to say that it is much more easier to get in if you are already in it (did u get that?). The first thing is the right look-Your face and more importantly your personality can take you places. The potential or talent-You got to be a good actor and should be confident enough to express yourself in front of 500 people. Hard work,hunger to succeed. The extras-If you are a terrific dancer then it is definitely a bonus. And PERSEVERANCE. Yes you should have loads of patience since not everyone can become an overnight star(But some can). Where should I start? Start from your house. Practice at home. In front of the mirror, in your bathroom. Take part in your college dramas and plays(for students). One very good area to begin your acting career would be the stage. You could also try to approach ad-makers or t.v. serials makers. Another time and tested way of making it into the film line would be modelling(though not guaranteed). I am sure you must have heard a lot about the various acting and dancing schools. There is no harm in joining such schools. But remember one thing they can only groom your talents and maybe teach you a few tricks and technical know-how but they cannot create an actor within you. So go ahead and join these schools if you have few extra thousand bucks to spend. Get your portfolio done from some renowned photographer(this will cost a lot) if possible. Drop it at few producers' ofiices and then keep your fingers crossed. Because you could get that one call that could change your life. Heres wishing you a very best of luck and remember one thing -BELIEVE in your self.
