* I have worked for 8 years as a Case Worker with a community organisation
* I have been employed to do professional supervison of other workers
* 20 years as Lifeline telephone Counsellor
* Many yearsCrisis and Financial Counselling
I have suffered with learning difficulties and ADHD long before it became fashionable
alway thinking I was dumb
I discovered Education as a mature student and to my surprise did extremerly well
I have been married to the same man some 34 years
over those years we have raised a family we had one boy and two girls
the girls were born tripplets girls and at age 2 years one girl died
my husband and I managed to deal with our grief
and although over the years we have faced many difficulties
we have managed to keep a good relationship as we both work
on keeping the lines of communication well oiled
I have worked in home delivery of groceries and Ice Cream vendering
till being able to enter the field of Welfare
I enjoyed my years as a case worker going into the homes of
clients and helping the whole family to find different strategies to
bring about a more positive outcome for all.
