| I received this as a Graduation gift from a good friend of mine and I've been meaning to start doing it, but I've been kind of lazy. Well, now you're going to see a daily update of Joann everyday and hopefully I won't run out of space for pictures. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Well, I have this long narrow space going down the middle of this page so I figure I'd say a few kind words about the person who gave Joann to me. I'll also see if I can exlpain the formula I talk about in my first picture. Ann Kim gave me this as a gift for graduating from high school. We've been through some pretty awkward times together, but we've managed to end up as pretty good friends. I guess I'll take this time to thank her, too. Thanks for always being a good friend, Ann, and I know that there are times when I might not have done the right thing, but thanks for sticking by me even then. haha, now let me explain the formula... Okay, if you take my name and Ann's name you have JON + ANN. That's 1 J, 1 O, 1 A, and 3 N's. If you rearrange that you can get J O A N N N, but the thing's name is Joann, not Joannn. So, Ann decided since an N appears in both her and my name, we could merge two N's into one. This leaves us with: J O A N N, so the name of the thing is Joann. Don't debate this. That's the end of it. Well, hope you enjoy watching Joann grow, everybody! And thanks again, Ann. |

| Sorry the picture's so blurry. That says JON + ANN = JOANN... She used some sort of math formula. It's cute, alright? |
These are the ingredients for JOANN. You got your little cup thingie, your little foamie cotton thingie, and your packet of seeds. |

| This is a close-up of the cup. It says: "Mr. Green" and it has a picture of a stick figure face growing hair. Her name is really Joann, haha. |
Here's a close-up of the foamie cotton thingie and the packet of seeds. I know my walls are still bare, but I'll get something up there eventually. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| STEP 1: Put the foamie cotton thingie in the cup. The foamie cotton thingie didn't look that big, but it was a chore getting it to fit in the cup. | STEP 2: Put some water in the cup with the foamie cotton thingie. The foamie cotton thingie absorbs that water like crazy. I poured a LOT of water in. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| STEP 3: Put the seeds in the cup. Those are seeds in the cup. For some reason, my camera has a problem focusing. But, trust me...those are seeds. | STEP 4: Put it in sunlight. Sunlight can't actually reach this spot, but I'll put the cup where the sun's rays can benefit Joann. You can count on that. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Another Day 5 picture...If you can see them, there's like little hairs, I mean, grasses growing. My camera doesn't work up close apparently, but they're there! Trust me. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
