A little sidenote here. Metro
North is currently phasing out it's old Fl-9 locomotives. A
few years ago, they donated Fl-9-A 2021 to the Childrens
Hospital (which was just a construction project back then)
unit of the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. The
locomotive was to form part of the buildings exterior. In 2001
I went to Valhalla to see how things were shaping up. Back
then, construction had just got underway, and the only items
present were the locomotive (with a new door in the back) and
two sections of jointed track. I have four photos of this and
they are annotated by a blue
