Grand Central
Photos Page
This page is a small piece
containing photos of Grand Central Terminal and trains along
the stretch of track to the Mott Haven Junction. Though I
took some photos of the main hall, they didn't come out. The Terminal is
(in)famous among railfans for lighting conditions which make railfan photography
- both on the platforms and in the main hall - a diabolical
nightmare, I can certainly attest to this!
* In the year 2000, the New
York Commission for the Arts made a project of putting cow
likenesses all over the city, artist creations of various
types. In July of the same year, I was there, and saw some of
them, and have posted to this page, the photo of the cow which
was in the Terminal. I don't remember its name, or if it even
had one, but it had kind of a Moroccan/Middle Eastern look
about it.
