The Mountains at Snowhead
Home
Now that you have the Hero's Bow, you might have an idea of how to get into Snowhead. See the really big arrow type icicle over the icicle twice and it falls and opens a path to Snowhead!

Now, make your way through the path and defeat the enemies on the way. If you encounter a blue spider, just three hits with the Kokori Sword will defeat it. When you come in, you are now in the Mountain Village. This is a village where just a single shop is and where a graveyard lies at the top of a cliff. Believe it or not this village is one of the most helpful sections in the game. Now, you might want to start off by talking to the goron on a small cliff near the frozen river. He asks you for some food. This is part of getting the
Don Gero's Mask. Now, go towards the twin islands and make sure to buy a map from Tingle while watching out for white wolfos. Continue through and you see the owl that you met back in the Swamp. He tells you to follow your sense, or the feathers that he is dropping. You need
to be careful here so you don't fall off. Once you make it over, the owl says some more stuff, and flies off. Now go into the cavern, and you get the Lens of Truth. The Lens of Truth uses up a lot of magic power, because it allows you to see what the naked eye cannot, like the blocks you jumped over to get to the cavern.
What the? Link is floating in the air!
Now, when you go out, you see a shadow. Put on your Lens of Truth to reveal it is Darmani, a great Goron Warrior. Follow him to the Mountain Village and You see him go up the giant cliff. The Lens of Truth to reveal a ladder heading up the cliff. When you go in, You find out that it is a graveyard where Darmani's body was buried. He says that his soul cannot be rested, and since you seem to have magical powers, he wants you to heal him. Play the Song of Healing, and he is healed into the mask, the Goron Mask. This mask lets you become a Goron, and people think you are the "great" Darmani. You have a couple main attacks, including the goron punch, which almost everyone is afraid of, a goron pound to push down switches and pound enemies, and a goron roll. This is the most powerful attack. Just curl, and roll forward. Roll straight and long enough to have spikes come out. Use this to punish enemies and perform the goron jump, which lets you jump long distances off ramps. You will use this a lot in the future.

Now that you have the Goron Mask and are in a graveyard, go up to the grave and push A when it says pull. Pull it (You can only do this as Goron Link), and hot springs water comes out. Now
quickly run to the Twin Islands and go to the second island. Melt the ice covering the hidden hole. Inside this hole is more Hot Springs Water. Go in this hole, and get more hot springs water. Now go over to the giant snowball where Tatl turns green. Punch it as Goron Link and a goron is shown in ice. Melt the ice, and you meet the elder goron. He teaches you the first part of the Goron Lullaby (A, C-Right, C-Left, A, C-Right I think). Now with the first part of the Goron Lullaby in hand, go to the Goron Shrine in the Goron Village. Run all of the way up the ramp, and into the room at the top. It is the Elder's son
crying, the source of all of the headaches the gorons are having. Play him the part of the goron lullaby that you know (You must be Goron Link). Then he teaches you the rest of the Lullaby. It goes like this: A, C-Right, C-Left, A, C-Right, C-Left, C-Right, A. With this, you can go directly to Snowhead, but you might want to collect the Don Gero's Mask first.
