I am Mr. Goodwin. I was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1979. How old does that make me? I weighed 56 ounces or 1,587.573295 grams. How much do I weigh in pounds, decigrams, hectograms, dekagrams, and a metric ton? This is called Dimensional Analysis. Science incorporates every subject, Math, English, Reading, History, etc. In science, we must know where we have been and where we are going. This is accomplished by the Scientific Method. We must ask questions as to what we see or make a Hypothesis of what might happen if variables stay the same or are changed. We test these variables by conducting a Controlled Experiment or Test our predictions and see if our results support or object our initial hypothesis, we make a Conclusion about our hypothesis and share our data with others. If our hypothesis is reproducible by others for many years and has regularity or consistency in the results, our hypothesis may then become a Theory. A theory explains a class of Phenomena.
