Spring to Summer
Spring to Summer

A crisp, hot srping day,
The dreary winter drifts away,
Revealing the beauty and array,
Of nature's precious gifts.

The day is clear, the air is warm.
Trees blossom, bee's swarm.
All of these create the norm,
Of a typical spring day.

Butterflies carried by the breeze,
Below the hills, above the trees,
Mice search to find the cheese,
Then hide in their holes in the wall.

But when the world begins to boil,
And stranded worms dry up and coill,
When farmer's crops begin to spoil,
The summer has arrived.
