These are two batteries that I am testing in my BMW,a 1967 R50/2.   6 volt system,   Every wet battery I ever had leaked.   So far this is working well.   You are in new territory if you try this.  But so far I like it.    June 2003

This is the removed connector (lower left)
White is the positive lead
The green and black object is a FUSE.   the kind used in newer cars.   this allows you to disconnect the battery at this point.
VERY NICE
MODEL #SLA-6V13

The two terminals are different sizes.
I Chose a 6 Volt 13Amp sealed battery.
PART #  SLA-6V13T

$14.95  plus  $6 shipping

It has a connector that is meant for some type of Childs motorized toy.   this is about the cheapest I have found it anywhere.    The Slash 2 strap will not work unless I raise the battery with a block.

The other battery without the  wires will work.  the terminals are different sizes.  one is just narrower than the other. it also costs  $2 more      $16.95
I felt that the wires would vibrate loose from this battery
I will install this as soon as the weather warms up in the DC area.
Easy way to plug my battery tender in.
