MY 1967  BMW R50/2
This bike should have been a parts bike  for someone....
But I could not stand to see it get stripped anymore.   Most of the parts were there.   Seat, Exhaust, rear wheel, etc were already sold.  I only proceded because the serial numbers matched.   But  the pistons were trashed  and also the Camshaft.
Anyway  since I was going to do most of the work myself  I figgured I could save a lot if money.   I  will have spent about  $2000 on parts and paint and it will be rideable.
Labor I have not calculated.   Slinger service. wheel lacing,  Frame sanding and painting in my back yard.  Finally  my Wife  Milli spent hours doing the Artwork instead of Pinstriping.   She wanted to know if I had more she could paint. This Bike is a lot of fun.
