The Contracepticons are a sarcastic semi-political punk band from all corners of the east bay. They started in 1999 in Vallejo, playing mostly parties and local shows. They now play shows all over the bay area most of the time for free. Their most prominent musical influences are the less serious street punk bands but also include the eclectic mix of bands such as: Filth, Toxic Narcotic, The Murder City Devils, Motorhead, GWAR and even some Neil Diamond. It doesn�t matter if it�s good, it only matters if it�s The Contracepticons.
