On my 95 Contour, there are a bunch of blanks like this, this one was actually used for an alarm that I dont have the key for, so I unplugged it, making it useless. Now I could take this LED out and insert a switch, and connect them 2 wires from, and when I switch the switch ON, that would lower the resistance level, and tell the PCM to turn the fan on, but the PCM will see the lower resistance, and give a CEL, fans will goto HIGH Speed. Though this is worth it if you can not afford to have FORD fix this..... |
