THE ORGANIZATION

The Shepherd's Hand Foundation and Global Ministries, Inc. (SHFGMi) is a Philippine based ministry. The main purpose is to preach the Gospel of Christ to all nations of the world with a harmonious spirit to other groups of Christians. Scriptural balance is the foundational education of all the believers for growth, effectiveness in evangelism and as a disciple-making church. As such this organization will host facilitates training, conduct theological classes, modular classes and seminars regularly. Christian Schools, Bible Schools, Seminaries, Churches and Training Centers will be established to produce good missionaries, pastors and leaders. Partnership with other groups of faith in the body of Christ is one of the value systems in order their all the believers in Christ will position themselves adequately for a wider harvest in the global arena in obeying the great commission and commandment of Christ (Matthew 28.19-20; Acts 1.8).

OUR VISION

To introduce Christ to all peoples of the world and educate the believers on the Scriptural value system as God's possessions and commissioners.

OUR MISSION

To develop and train all the believers on how to maximize the use of their giftedness to its fullest potential. The main focus is effectiveness for the expansion (multiplication of membership) and extension (multiplication of the number of churches) ministries of the local church.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

ARTICLE 1

THE ONLY GOD

We believe that there is a Single and Simple Spiritual Being, whom we call God--Etemal, Incomprehensible, Invisible, Unchallengeable, Infinite, Almighty; completely wise, just, good and overflowing source of all good.

ARTICLE 2

THE MEANS BY WHICH WE KNOW GOD

Two ways we can know God; First, through general revelation: by creation, preservation and government of the universe (Rom. 1.20).
Second, through special creation: God revealed Himself to us through His divine Word, the Bible (2 Tim. 3.16).

ARTICLE 3

THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD

We believe the 66 books of the whole Bible, the Old and New Testaments as the only holy and canonical books (2 Tim. S. 16- 2 Pet. 1.20-21).
Completely the whole Scripture is sufficient of God's perfect will for man's redemption by His grace through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Tim. 3.15- Eph, 2.8).

ARTICLE 4

THE TRINITY

We believe in One God, who is Single in Essence but existing in Three Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Persons of God are distinct or separated but They are not divided nor fused or mixed together, for all Three are one in power, in truth, in goodness and mercy. The Father is fully God, the Son is fully God and the Holy Spirit is fully God but not Three Gods. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Father nor the Spirit as Son nor the Father (Gen, 1.26; Isa. 9.6; Matt. 3.17; 28.19-20). The Father is the Creator, the Son is the Redeemer and the Holy Spirit is the Sanctifier.

ARTICLE 5

THE FALL OF MAN

We believe that no one is righteous. All are sinners and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3.9-10; 3.23) as an effect when Adam and Eve sinned (Rom 5.12). All people are dead in sins and transgressions (Eph. 2.1-2). But by God's grace and mercy, He provided redemption through Christ Jesus our Lord (Eph. 2.5-8).

ARTICLE 6

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is by grace not by merit (Eph. 2.8). Salvation is positional. The full blessings of salvation are as follows: Justification, regeneration and sanctification. At conversion justification is received as well as regeneration and sanctification (Eph. 1.13-14; Rom. 5.1; John 1.12; Cor. 6.19-20).

ARTICLE 7

TWO IMPORTANT ORDINANCES

We believe the two ordinances of the Church given by Christ. First, water baptism as symbolism of our union with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection (Rom. 6.3-10). Every believer must submit to water baptism as an oath and a public testimony that at conversion positionally, the believer is completely united with Christ. Water baptism has nothing to do to be saved but at conversion salvation is taking place (Eph. 1.13-14; 2.8), Second, the Lord's Table or Holy Communion as symbolism, the bread as symbol of the body of Christ and the cup as symbol of the blood of Christ. Though it is symbolism in reference to the elements of Communion and as a commemoration but as applied in faith to celebrate the death of Christ, we believe that God's power is available to sustain the believers spiritually as well as physically, hearings and miracles shall be obtained by God's intention and will (1 Pet. 2,24).

ARTICLE 8

THE HOLY CHURCH

We believe the one holy Church, the holy congregation and gathering of all true believers, awaiting the entire salvation to be culminated at Christ's return. Those being washed and sanctified by the blood of Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1.13-14). This holy one Church is not dominated by denominations, sects or religions but those who are true believers in Christ Jesus including the Old Testament believers whose lives and behaviors are affirmed in their positions in God and Christ being justified, regenerated and sanctified (Eph. 1.3-11; Rom. 8.28-30; Eph. 1.22-23).

ARTICLE 9

MEANS OF GRACE WITHIN THE CHURCH

We believe that all the believers will have access of the means of grace within the fellowship of the Church through the teaching of the Word, baptism, the Lord's Supper, prayer for one another, worship, Church discipline, giving, tithing, spiritual gifts, fellowship, evangelism, and personal ministry to individuals.

ARTICLE 10

CHURCH GOVERNMENT

We believe the biblical Church government. A Church officer is someone who has been publicly recognized as having the right and responsibility to perform certain functions for the benefit of the whole Church and has qualifications speculated in 1 Tim. 3.1-12.

ARTICLE 11

MORE-PURE CHURCH

We believe the factors which make a Church more pure are as follows: Biblical doctrine= right teaching of the Word- proper use of sacraments or ordinances; right use of Church discipline; genuine worship; effective prayer; effective witness; effective fellowship; Biblical Church government; spiritual power in ministry; personal holiness of life among members; care for the poor and genuine love for Christ.

ARTICLE 12

MISSIONS OF THE CHURCH

We believe that the missions of the Church are categorized in three aspects: 1. Evangelism; 2. The Making of Disciples; 3. Intensive Christian Education.
The scope of this mission is worldwide as commanded by Christ Jesus our Lord (Matt. 28.19-20; Acts 1.8).
The Church is blessed by God to bless others.
