| Bio: Evangelist Anthony O. Conley Since 1994, Evangelist Conley has presented the Gospel at various preaching engagements at Emory House Homeless Shelter in Washington DC,, various locations throughout South Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland where he preached for a variety of Church services and Men�s Prayer Breakfasts, Cheltenham Boys Detention Center in Maryland, Washington Home for the Aging in the District of Columbia, Jessup Maximum Security Prison in Maryland, and in various homeless shelters, hospitals, the homes of sick individuals, as well as witnessing on the streets and in the malls and volunteered at Lorton Prison in Lorton Virginia. In 1998, he joined the National Prayer Chapel in Woodbridge Virginia where he was minister on staff. After leaving National Prayer Chapel, in 2000, he became a member of Jesus Christ Church, Lanham Maryland. In 2001, his ministry gave birth, More Than Conquerors Ministries became incorporated and IRS tax exempt. At the present, he along with Pastor Joseph Bryan are serving Maryland, District of Columbia, and various locations in Virginia presenting, �It�s Time To Get Back To Jesus� Crusades. The ministry currently sends free tapes to many states, the District of Columbia, Trinidad, West Indies, and Africa. In 2002, Evangelist Conley was ordained as the Assistant Pastor of Jesus Christ Church, 5201 Baltimore Lane, Lanham, Maryland, where the Senior Pastor is Joseph Bryan. He assists with conducting All Night Prayer Meetings at the Church and hosts weekly Men�s Prayer Meetings. He actively preaches the Gospel on Sunday�s and Tuesday�s, leads the congregation in worship, faithfully calls the members to pray with them and encourage them in the Lord, and has counseled many in crisis at Jesus Christ Church. He also currently has taken a teenager under his wing and mentors him by teaching him how to pray, fast, and seek the Lord. He works closely with him, daily, and encouraging him to serve the Lord in his youth. In conclusion, Evangelist Conley is a walking Epistle who loves serving the Living God, who has been faithful to read the bible from Genesis to Revelation some times twice a year, in addition to listening to the bible on CD and cassette, consistently fast and prays, and walks holy in the midst of unholy times, encouraging all that he meets to do the same. |
| Evangelist Anthony �Tony� Conley was born August 18, 1965, to James and Marie Conley. He is the third child of five. He was saved on a Sunday night in May of 1979, but fell away from the Lord and rededicated his life to the Lord on December 29, 1990. In 1988, he married his wife, Brigitte and in 1991, the first of their four children was born. He joined the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, Maryland in January 1991 and was called into the ministry in 1992. Since that time he has prepared himself through various classes at First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Some of the classes were How to study the Bible, Fasting, Gifts of the Spirit, Expository Preaching, Church Alive II, 13 Weeks of Advanced Christian Training School, Gospel of John, Monthly Men�s Fellowship, Brothers in Discipleship, Cults, Christian Witness Training, and 6 years of Bible Study classes. |
