| Conscious Connected Breathing Instruction...- Who would ever think that anyone might need help to learn to breathe properly? It is more common that you probably realize. Approximately 87% of Americans are habitual 'shallow breathers'. There are many reasons for this occurance, and even more reasons to STOP and take a healthy, life-giving "FULL-BODY" breath! Take the QUIZ below to see if YOU could benefit from Breath Therapy and Conscious Connected Breathing. (It's FUN, FASCINATING and FREEING!) , Breathing as a metaphor for all of life... Think of a full inhalation and exhalation as giving and receiving. Think of a deep in-breath as your willingness to experience life fully. Think of a full out-breath as your willingness to express yourself completely. Our feelings are blocked on the in-breath and the out-breath. Conscious Connected Breathing is a technique that gives you access to your patterns of suppression at the physical level. "BREATH is the foundation of life, and the VOICE is the first expression of one's thoughts, emotions and desires into form. BREATHING TIPS TIP 1 If you feel anxious, hyper or upset--3 deep breaths will calm you. If you feel tired, sleepy or blue--3 deep breaths will energize you. The breath always gives you exactly what you need. TIP 2 Inhale deeply through the nose. Allow the breath to go to your belly button. Exhale gently through the mouth. Smile. |
