1. This website is intended for the individual that wishes to find movies, software, video games, etc. all in one location. Gone are the days where it was necessary to search google for each individual location for the different types of content that you would desire. This website takes this a step further and ensures that all of the content is updated (typically to the last 365 days) so that you will not have to go anywhere to locate what you are after. Addtionally this website allows for ease of use, with orginization a key talking point. Need a movie? Go to movies. Need an MMORPG to play? Head on over to the Games/MMORPG section. If you are looking for it, this website has it.
2. The overall design of this website was focused on ease of use, but with a sort of "twang" if you will. The idea was to keep the individual on the website with the optically stimulating pages, as well as the moving backgrounds as a typical website will have a bland background that fatigues the eyes quickly. I chose the color scheme specifically as a dark to light website, as opposed to the standard bright blue light websites that we know and are typically visiting, primarily so a visitors eyes do not begin to burn and cause the visitor to want to leave. The overall design is simplistic yet sophisticated, with the stationary menu that is always there with you on a web page, this allows for easy navigation to another page within the website. I have placed everything in a format in which visitors can find easily, without having to squint and search around for the information they are after. If the individual desires a certain piece of content, they can simply navigate through the menus which are self-explanitory and locate what they are after.
3. Had I more time, I would have completed the functionality of the forums. I would have completed the layout and ensured that it had worked properly prior to publishing the website. Overall I believe the site is a pretty decent idea of what could be if there were time and licensing involved. I would have ultimated had all content enabled and not just some categories of the website. In the current state the website is limited to the primary categories with an additional sub-category. There are endless capabilities that I could put into the website, though with the limited resources as well as knowledge, it would take some time. Overall I say that this website for starters is quite a feat of strength, with the features included and the styling involved.
