Types of Paper:

Confetti making is a great way to get rid of used scratch paper! You can also use:

• Old magazines and catalogs.
• Junk Mail
• Construction paper scraps
• Colored memo paper

Scissors:

There are many ways to make confetti. the most commonly thought of method is the good old scissors and paper method.
You can use any kind of paper but your hand might get a little tired.

Paper Shredder:

The paper shredder is a quick way to start out making confetti. It cuts out half of the cutting involved with just using scissors the whole time.
I have seen a new type of paper shredder on the market that cuts in two directions! Instant confetti!

Hole Punch:

One of the most fun ways to make confetti is with a hole puncher. You can even buy the kind that punch out cute shapes.

I like to use a 3-hole punch with a thing that catches the confetti at the bottom.
One note: It's kind of hard to hole punch magazine paper.
