Seventh Annual
Hörcktöberfest
October 27, 2001
On the Fuller Dirt, if anywhere.
About the Event

We do not know if it will happen anymore. There needs to be some support and work from the younger and newer members of CSFA to keep the flame going if there will is going to be a tournament this year. Us 30-something types are getting too old to do all of the work.

The event is a CSFA organized event designed to remove the fencers from the typical surroundings of competition. It was conceived in the twisted little minds of the Founders: Thomas Smailus, George Fuller, Beth Hughes.
The Horcktoberfest used the current CSFA rules of the event. Also, do not forget about the Insignia Guidelines.
Specifics
- Participation: Fencing by invitation only.
- Directors: This we still need to determine.
- Cost: $5 to fence only, $20 fence + T-Shirt.
T-shirts will be $15 (this is included in the $20 tournament fee)
if pre-ordered and pre-payed with Tom before the
tournament (Date on Invititations).
Normal
shirts are for participants in the tournament only. Non-participants may order
T-shirts at any time though this web site at
the price listed there or for $25 (+$5 postage if you need it mailed to you)
if ordered AND PAID FOR at the party!
Non fencers: (and partygoers) a $2-$5 contribution to the organization will be greatly appreciated to help defer the cost of the party supplies, but is not required.
- Date: October 27, 1999, 10am - 3pm.
Starting time is
EXACT. Be there by 9:45, no later. If you cannot be there
by 9:45, meet us at the site (indicated on the official invitations) by
10:00-10:15 to make sure you sign up for the weapons you want. Ending time is,
of course, only approximate. The starting time of a particular weapon cannot
be determined as the order of events is randomly decided at around 10am. If
you are not there, you may not get to fence, if you show up late, you might get
to fence.
- Poisons: The usual array: Southern Comfort and the Victors Bain: Peppermint Schapps (in the guise of General Cartman E. Lee's Peppermint Schnapps ).
Champions!
