v About VCOT v |
|
Virginia Concert and Opera Theatre serves the interests of
college students and young emerging professionals, offering performance
opportunities for roles in small venues.
VCOT performs irregularly and is tuition dependant. In 1998 and 1999,
VCOT offered opera scenes in an opera workshop format. In 2001, VCOT mounted
a production of Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi along with
scenes from various Mozart operas. In 2002, VCOT produced its first full
length opera, Mozart’s Magic Flute. We are excited to
bring The Old Maid and the Thief, The Impresario and Too Many Sopranos to the stage in 2007. |
