Nettie is on the 1900 Skagit census WITHOUT Charles. In fact, it says that she is widowed. Strange...because Charles died in 1914.

Obituaries

December 29, 1920

CONATY – Patrick, aged 78 years, of 110417 17^th S. W., February 25, beloved father of William P. Conaty; brother of Mary Conaty, Seattle. Rosary Thursday, 7:30 p.m. and Requiem Mass Friday, 8:30 a.m., both at St. Alphonsus Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Remains at Mittelstadt Funeral Parlors.

MRS. BERNARD McDERMOTT

Mrs. Ella McDermott, widow of Bernard McDermott, died yesterday at her home, 1417 W. 56^th St. Rosary will be said at 8 o’clock tonight at the residence. Requiem mass will be said at 8:30 o’clock tomorrow morning at St. Alphonsus Church, 14^th Avenue Northwest and West 57^th Street. Burial will be in Calvary under the direction of the Mittelstadt Funderal Home.

Mrs. McDermott, a native of Michigan, came to Seattle more than twenty years ago. Surviving area a sister, Miss Mayme Conaty, and a brother, A. P. Conaty, Seattle.
