In today's society it's incredibly important to have an up to date anti-virus. Just this utility alone isn't going to protect you from all the evils that are on the Internet. It will go a long way in eliminating some of the hassles of keeping you and your computer happy and healthy. One thing that is a very important part of protecting yourself against new and more vicious viruses is keeping your anti-virus up to date. It's not enough to just have an anti-virus installed on your computer. You must also keep the definitions up to date.
On this page I have some free anti-virus programs listed. These are some excellent programs offered by some of the best anti-virus companies out there. They may not have all of the bells and whistles that go with the paid programs but you will be protected by some excellent anti-virus utilities.
I don't want any one to be susceptible to a virus attack just because they feel they may not have the extra money for an anti-virus program. I'm also offering a link to Kaspersky's Anti-virus. This is an anti-virus utility, but one that does not to my knowledge have a free version. This anti-virus is one that some of the security guru's think far out shines all the other anti-virus programs. I'm not endorsing this product. I'm just making the link available to whom ever may want it. I truly feel that any anti-virus you use is far better than none at all.
It has been brought to my attention that there are adds from Yahoo and Geocites promoting various Antivirus programs ect. I cannot endorse these products in any fashion what so ever.
