Design

This section describes the system that you intend to use, BEFORE you have created it.

Design of input / output

All reports, on-screen forms and menus should be drawn (either by hand or on a graphics package) NEVER PRINT OUT FORMS, REPORTS OR MENUS THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY CREATED. Data capture forms can be created in their finished format.
Design new data capture forms; the chances are that your input requirements are slightly different from the original system.
Design on-screen input forms.
Design menus.
Design output formats (what your printouts and on-screen displays will look like).

Data Checking and data controls
Describe in general any data checking techniques that you intend to use. Validation and verification checks should be explained, justified and, if necessary, applied to the appropriate input fields.

Data and/or processing structures
Use the table headings below to list all the fields required in your table(s) and queries

Description of specialised features
Describe any macros, input masks, code or validation routines which you intend to include in your system.

Hardware and software
Describe the system configuration that you intend to use. This should only be a general description of the components which will be necessary for you to complete the system (Will you need a printer? Should the system be networked? Are specialised input devices necessary?). You may wish to include possible specifications including prices. These may be obtained from the Internet.
