| ...... in human history. Yeah right hippies! That propaganda campaign literally blew up in their face! There have been many disasters bigger than Bhopal. The death toll in Bhopal was 20,000. It's a fact that about 25 MILLION died in the Black Death in the 1300s. At least 255,000 people died in the Tangshan earthquake in China in 1976. Nearly a million died in the Huang He floods of 1887. Another million died in a cyclone in Bangledesh in 1970. See what I mean? Next time Greenpeace, get your facts straight! If you want to see the article yourself, then feel free to view it: the article in question. According to Greenpeace, they believe that the chemical company DOW was responsible for the creation of environmental action groups. This appeared in a mirrored site of Greenpeace: Mad-Dow-Disease. Why would they say this? Well, because they don't want to feel ashamed that the reason why many people dislike Greenpeace is because its members founded it up themselves. In other words, they want to find a scapegoat so people will, in theory, take their anger on the scapegoat (in this case DOW) and be left alone. They can then also attack the chemical companies that produces many essential products that Greenpeace members use (it all goes down to that hypocrite thing). Killing two birds with one stone, or so it seems. Again, the public isn't stupid and again, they know the truth. The book Guinness World Records 2003 (formerly known as the Guinness Book of Records) says that the largest ever environmental petition was created by Greenpeace. In 1995, they collected about 8.5 million signatures which called for France to stop nuclear testing at Mururoa in the Pacific. However, six nuclear tests were still carried out, but Greenpeace still considered the petition a success because originally the French were to make eight tests. How can Greenpeace call this a success? Nuclear tests still went ahead. Fish and other marine life still suffered. The air still got polluted. I believe that the French really only planned to do six tests, but said they were doing eight so that Greenpeace members wouldn't commit suicide in the belief that they couldn't make a difference. In other words, because no one listened to Greenpeace, the French gave them a lifeline and "faked" a victory. It seems that France is leading the "war against Greenpeace". In fact, the flagship of the Greenpeace fleet, the Rainbow Warrior, was blown up by the French secret service in 1985, killing one Greenpeace member. Unfortunately, the ship was raised and continues, to this day, to patrol the high seas. In fact, the first ever bit of hate mail I ever sent out was at Greenpeace in 1999. It was in size 36 font (or some large text) and I claimed to be the one who sank the Rainbow Warrior. I enjoyed a few laughs out of that one. I'm certain that Greenpeace did too. While we are on the topic of nuclear weapons, let me tell you about another Greenpeace nuclear bungle. In mid 2000, I watched a TV program about nuclear............ |
