Q. Why can't everyone in the world be friends?
A. I wish everyone could be friends, too, but some people are greedy, proud, selfish, and unforgiving, and these are the biggest reasons why people aren't friends. The more we love Jesus, the more we will be able to be friends with everyone, because Jesus changes our hearts and minds to be sharing, humble, kind and forgiving. Isn't that good!
Q. Why am I best friends with Tahniesha and Kristy?
A. Probably because you have similar interests, hobbies, and things you like! You are probably able to understand each other very well, trust each other, and able to forgive each other when you apologise for doing the wrong thing.
Q. Is god's birthday the 25th december!!!!
A. Actually, no-one knows the real birthday of Jesus, but for a number of reasons, people in the church began to celebrate Jesus' birthday on that date.
Q. Why do people give you dirty looks?
A. They are probably trying to tell you that you've done something wrong or stupid, and they are sick and tired of having to tell you with words to do the right thing!
But sometimes they are just trying to put you down. See the question "Why do people call each other names?"
Q. Where does gravity come from?
A. Gravity exists anywhere an object exists in the universe. The bigger or "heavier" or "more mass" the object has, the more gravity there is. Because the earth is very very big and has lots of mass, it attracts everything around it, like us. That's why we don't fall off the earth even though the earth is spinning very fast!!
Q. how come his the one been chosen why?
A. I think this question means "Why is Jesus the chosen one?" All I know is that God is in control (Proverbs 16:4) and in the Bible God told us that He chose Jesus to save the world. I am very happy that God did send Jesus to save us from our sins so that we could have a better life now and also go to heaven.
Q. Why do people have S-E-X?
A. People have sex because they enjoy it! God gave us sex as a gift for married people to enjoy, not only as a way of showing how much they love each other, and making each other feel special, but also as a way of making new people - babies!
Q. Why do people have to go to school?
A. For a baby boy or girl to grow up to become a mature person who is able to enjoy life, get married, have children, and look after them and the needs of the whole family, the boy and girl have to learn many things! In olden days, you used to learn everything you needed to know from your parents, you then got a job very young (say at 13 years old), and then learnt more and more about life on the job and from others as life went on.
But as society became more and more developed, there became many more things to learn, and parents couldn't teach everything or became too busy to teach everything as well as work at the same time. That's why schools were started, so that lots of children could be taught lots of things from lots of people!
Q. Why do people betray you?
A. People betray you because they might be jealous of you or angry with you, and they are trying to hurt you. That's sad. God wants us to be faithful and trustworthy.
Q. Why are there two places "Heaven" and "Hell".
A. God created hell as a place into which He could throw away all evil and badness (cf Revelation 20:10-15; Matthew 25:41), so that all others who love the good wouldn't have to see it, hear it, or experience it ever again. It is like an eternal rubbish dump!
Heaven on the other hand is the place where God in all His goodness is.
Q. Why do some people believe in God, and some believe in the Devil.
A. Some people believe in the devil and not God because the devil has tricked them into thinking that the devil is actually better than God and that following God is a life of no fun. This is the biggest lie, because what the devil offers you might "taste good" or "feel good" to start with, but in the end it always leads to death! (Genesis 3; Romans 6:23).
Q. Does god have any more kid's ba Jeses?
A. No. Jesus is the only Son of God. HOWEVER, every single person on earth who loves Jesus and believes in Jesus actually gets "adopted" into God's family, and God calls them His children! (John 1:12,13). Isn't that amazing!
Q. Does god keep secrets from us?
A. The Bible says there are some things that the LORD our God keeps secret from us (Deuteronomy 29:29), for example the exact day and hour when Jesus Christ will come back to earth (Matthew 24:36). But God does not keep secrets from us to harm us! Remember, God is love (1 John 4:8), and He only wants the best for us.
Q. Why do people brake things?
A. People break things either by accident or on purpose. I can't explain if it is by accident, but if it is on purpose, it could be for a number of reasons:
1. They want to see how strong they are, or what it looks like to see that thing break.
2. It is old and they want to get rid of it.
3. They are acting stupid.
4. They are trying to damage someone else's property to hurt them.
If it is reasons 3 or 4, the cause is because they are sinning and at that moment are not listening to God and living a loving life like He wants us to.
