Marconi Communications (Hong Kong)

Communiqué worked with various engineers at Marconi to develop a set of comprehensive and detailed Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals for the Baggage Handling Equipment of the MTRC Airport Express Railway.

The O&M manuals contained all the detailed information required for the efficient and safe operation, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of the plant, equipment and computer control systems for the whole system. This information included:

  detailed disassembly/assembly/start-up/operation/emergency/ maintenance/shut-down procedures

  lubrication schedules and procedures

  design data parameters and specific features of pant and equipment

  parts lists/tools lists/drawings/diagrams

  installation, testing and commissioning instructions

  detailed documentation for hardware and software for the various computer systems that controlled the plant.
