Hongkong Tramways

Communiqué completed a total redesign and redevelopment of the Hongkong Tramways Rule Books. This project required:

  analysis of the information requirements of more than 500 tram drivers and inspectors

  design of a new suite of manuals

  development of their content

  translation of the content to Chinese.

Due to the criticality of the information being documented, in ensuring the safe operation of the tramway and in protecting the company in the case of legal action taken over an incident/accident, the Rule Books required input from numerous people including the company’s legal representatives.
