Cleansing a Dwelling
 

You will need:

• Frankincense or sandalwood incense for cleansing

  • (Not a smoking environment? Dot with essential oils)

• Candle (as appropriate)

  • (Blue for tranquility) (Green for healing and prosperity) (Purple for protection)

• Bowl of salt water

• Bowl of sweet smelling herbs (as appropriate)

  • (Rose buds for love) (Lavender for preservation) (Rosemary for protection)

• Food and drink for thank giving (share with a friend or loved one and the Earth creatures)

Instruction:

1. Proceed around the dwelling, widdershins (counter-clockwise) and cleanse the area with the salt water

2. Simply sprinkle a little salt water on each corner, window, door, drain, and ask that any evil or disruptive influences leave the place.

3. When this is finished, proceed around the house deosil (clockwise) sprinkling the blessing herbs and invoke whatever deities or properties you wish on the dwelling, such as good health, peace, prosperity, tranquility, etc.

4. Begin the Feast of Thanks Giving.
