Welcome to The Asylum The Asylum was an idea thought up about 6 years ago. Fed up with going to nights that just stuck to one genre we decided that there must be a night that catered for all of our music tastes. We were wrong. The Asylum was born. Reaching far beyond our means the first plan was to get a pub / club called The Asylum, called so because of the mix of Alternative Genres we envisaged playing. With no experience & no financial backing the Asylum sat at the back of our minds always there waiting to open but, only getting as far as a cocktail menu for house parties. Now, with a few changes from the original idea, The Asylum is ready to open. The Asylum is a night of alternatve genres. Rock, Goth, Alternative 80's, Glam, Punk & Indie . There will be a �3 commitment fee, however, for those of you who become inmates there will be a �1 discount. If you would like to become an Inmate of The Asylum, please see the Commitment section for details. Once we have a definite date for the Opening Night, we will let you know.
