Madison: I have been greatly inspired by U2's Bono. His efforts to relieve the suffering in Africa have touched my heart and made me want to contribute. To paraphrase Mother Teresa, this project is my drop in my bucket. I also volunteer my time to other organizations such as Amnesty International and PADS and I'm on the board of the Pipedream Theatre Project
Donna: I was inspired by Bono's TED speech. I wanted to try and do something. Once my eyes were opened to the need, there was no going back. I became involved in the ONE campaign by distributing One t-shirts at my local U2 concert, and helped other like-minded fans spread the word at their own U2 concerts around the globe. I am interested in photography and I've been knitting Comfort Dolls so this Project was a natural progression of combining the two.
