| Comedy Deathmatch History |
| Comedy Deathmatch was founded in Olean,NY on October 18, 2000. John Loyd is responsible for the name of Comedy Deathmatch. It started out as a stop motion idea that would feature Spawn figures or any type of action figure fighting eachother. Then, it somehow got turned into a parody of 'Celebrity Deathmatch.' Except these weren't celebrities that were going to be mimicked, they would be people that are known in OHS and OMS and anyone in the Olean area. All characters are real in a sense. The Boss,Skuny, and others are based on real life people. The first match pitted Jutt Groth against Jay. It was the longest match to record, it took around 5 hours, however, it was spread out during an entire day, when most matches are now in a certain timeframe, and are done almost completely without breaks....except John. (haha?) It soon bacame very popular, and now is the best known home video show of all ti....ok, maybe around 10-13 people know about it, "any-rate" as Mr. Sherman says, below are some PBP's of past matches..
