| Known as one of the 'Nanas biggest hits, CRUEL SUMMER not only pushed Bananarama nearer to their title of greatest girl band, but also got them noiced in America. The song was a top ten hit in the UK, and has enjoyed many achievements, such as being re-recorded in 1989 for a single release with Jacquie, being re-re-recorded for the girls 2001 album EXOTICA, appearing in the Karate Kid film and also by still being shown on music channels today. Quite a success! |
