As President of the Columbus Young Democrats I woud like to take this chance to extend a warm Welcome! I would also like to take this time to tell you what in my opinion Young Democrats is here for. Young Democrats are here in my opinion to educate the youth of Columbus Community High School and the Columbus Junction community in general, it is not in my opinion necessarily the convort or to gain members for the Democratic party but to simple educate individuals about the government and political parties in general. Although wwe are here to educate and not to convert we will work on political campaigns and work our hardest to get democratic officals to Senate, House of Represenatives, and any publicly elected offical. At this time i would also like to encourage everyone to attend there local Caucus on January 19th, 2004!
