The Columbus Corvette Club inaugural meeting was held on June 10th, 2000. Approximately 19 Corvette enthusiast attended this event.

On June 14th the first official club meeting was held in the conference room at Bill Heard Chevrolet. A total of 29 people attended. We introduced ourselves, elected officers, and we were on our way.

From our humble beginnings, this group has grown stronger by the month. To Date (Through Octoberber 12, 2003), our membership has grown to 84. We have a total of 62 cars, which range from a 1957 Convertible to a 2002 Coupe.

Our monthly calendars have grown as well. We average 4-7 events a month, and are always looking for new ideas.

Current Events Include;

• A Monthly Dinner Meeting (The second Tuesday of Each Month)

• Road Rallys (Within 60 miles)

• Mystery Cruises (Within 150 miles)

• Poker Runs (Weeknight "In town" drive)

• Out of Town Car Shows (Newnan, Albany, Acworth, Atlanta, Etc.)

• Cruise in (Usually Held on The Last Friday of The Month)
