...The Man of My Dreams!!!!
Starring.........
Curtis first emailed me at the end of May, 2001. His email was different than the kind I was used to getting from guys claiming they were interested because his was an ACTUAL letter. I mean, he didn't just say "Hey you're cute. Write back" like most guys do. But, I was just about to travel to Cape Cod, so I put off replying to him until later. I was casually seeing someone at the time anyway and didn't think I had time for anyone else. Plus, I'm not comfortable dating more than one person at a time, even if it's not serious. After I replied, turning him down, Curtis responded with another sweet message, saying he understood and that he would keep in touch.

Then at the end of June, when I was single again, I looked Curtis up and was just about to email him when up popped an invitation to his Yahoo! buddy list. Well, I sent him an instant message INSTANTLY and even gave him my phone number. No more hesitation! We talked  on the phone that night for a couple hours, and every night after that. A week after the first phone call, we met in person. In that first conversation, you see, Curtis had asked me what my idea of a romantic evening was. So, for our first date, he made it come true. We had a romantic starlit dinner aboard an old-fashioned paddlewheel boat as it sailed on the lake. The sky was lit with both stars and 4th of July fireworks. It was fabulous! The next day, we went to an Astros game. And, as they say, the rest is history.

We say our prayers each night thanking God for the wonderful blessing of each other in our lives.

So of course, we got
married!

chapter one: heart on my sleeve

chapter three: supernapptural
chapter two:
at last, my love has come along
Curtis has since told me that he read this entire website and when he happened upon my list of what I wanted in a man, he knew he had to give it a try. The amazing thing is that he is everything I put in that "wish list" and he does everything I said I wanted a man to do for me. No one is truly more blessed than I.

One year later, I feel the same way.
