Jennifer Azzi #8
Jennifer Azzi is the Lasers premier guard. The most consistent player on the Lasers squad, Jennifer Azzi, is in fact, the heart and soul of the team. She was in rehab for her dislocated shoulder that she hurt earlier last season against the Portland Power who have the two-sport phenom,Natalie Williams.
Azzi was also part of the gold medal winning Olympic squad. I personally think she deserved more playing time, but when you are loaded with talent and Azzi comes off the bench... you know your bench is DEEP!!! Anyhow, Azzi is back and strong as ever. This is HER team. Not Beck's team. And I think we are still seeing
the team struggling to get along with this Coach's game philsophy. The players obviously do not respect Beck. They probably don't like her either. Anyhow, why are we talking about Beck, this is Azzi's Page!
With Azzi on the team, the Lasers always have a chance in winning. Her leadership was sorely missed last year, but luckily Trisha Stafford emerged as a dominant player and helped the Lasers get into the playoffs. Welcome back Jennifer Azzi!
