*How To Remove Color From A Comic Page*
Ok. So why would you want to do this? Well, let's say you find a page that you really want to color but can't because...well...it's already colored! NOOOOOOO!
Don't worry, fanboy, you can still grant your wish by following these simple steps:
1.) Open the colored page in Photoshop--I use version 7.
2.) Create a new adjustment layer by going to: IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > HUE/SATURATION
3.) Move the "Saturation" arrow all the way to the left--do not mess with any of the other settings. You will end up with a grayscale image.
4.) If for some reason you created a seprete layer in the beginning, merge it now and go to: IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > CURVES. Adjust the curves to suit your tastes.
5.) You're done! You should now have a black and white rendition of the colored page.
There are several ways to take out color, but I have found this one to be the easiest by far. (Another way is to go to: IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > THRESHOLD. It doesn't work as well, but it does work.)
