Q. Why do Officiants seem so pricey? A. If you’ve been shopping for the perfect Officiant, you’ll know that prices can range from $100 to upwards of $700! As with any line of business, you’ll find the experienced and the inexperienced, with different ranges of quality. We deliver high quality but try to keep our fees reasonable for our couples. Weddings have been our business since 2001 and our clients rave about our touching, compelling ceremonies plus our full-time planners who handle the coordination of your wedding like the pros they are, making your once-in-a-lifetime event perfect and seamless.
Q. Weddings are such a huge undertaking. Where do I begin? A. We understand! We offer a free consultation where you can feel free to ask all your questions and we can provide helpful tips on budgeting, planning or where to find reputable vendors.
Q. What is wedding coordination? A. Wedding-day coordination is professional assistance to help you with all the intricacies that make up a wedding - often very hectic! We organize all your vendors, choreograph your rehearsal and ceremony, supply design assistance, and handle all the other “little” things that you shouldn’t be bothered with on your wedding day! Please see our pricing page for our affordable rates.
Q. We don’t want an elaborate, expensive wedding. What do you suggest? A. Many people are concerned with the stress of a big wedding. If you’re planning a gathering of only a few friends or family members, we offer garden and park services where the venues are often times free of charge. We also offer affordable elopement packages where your ceremony would be held in the Minister’s study. We also offer ala carte-style if most beneficial to your needs.
Q. When should we book an officiant? A. Anywhere between 3 and 12 months, depending on the season. If you're planning your ceremony on a weekend during the Summer months, the earlier you reserve your date, the better! Winter months aren't quite as busy, but we recommend early booking during the Holidays.
Q. Do you require premarital counseling? A. No, we don’t require it. However, we do offer both group premarital classes or one-on-one counseling.
Q. Where to we get our marriage license? A. Marriage licenses are available at your County’s offices. There is a fee, which must be paid in cash. Both parties MUST be present at the County offices and must provide valid photo ID verifying proof of age. Divorced or widowed persons must supply the date and place of divorce or former spouse’s death. Blood tests are not required in Colorado. Marriage licenses are good for 30 days.
