When Aby started designing the accommodations at the Lair, she let herself run wild! She planned a vacation experience like no other, especially for the hedonists among us (which is practically everyone on staff at the GGC!).
Aby decided that it was important that, whatever your hedonistic urge, you needed to be able to fulfill it without leaving the privacy of your suite. So:
Walk in refrigerators and pantries in every suite - filled with every imaginable goodie!
Direct access to 24 hour room service - which is a five star restaurant with a large team of chefs. Actually, staffing policy at the Lair is that there is a full team of chefs and kitchenhands for each suite. So you can be assured that when your order hits the kitchen, your own staff will swing into action straight away to start cooking for you.
In addition, you can also access our barista-Dannys - the finest coffee bar none, delivered hot and steaming to your door in minutes. Actually, from our experience in Gee's Gutter Guest House, these boys are such a joy to watch that we are thinking about installing a coffee bar in each suite's sitting area at our next upgrade, so your Danny-barista will come on in and entertain all your senses!
But then Aby started getting really creative! And that's where the fun starts in your suite!
How about a sauna? Fancy relaxing in a steamy environment with your clone?
Just take a short walk to your private sauna - but remember, getting too active in there can be tough on your blood pressure! Use this room for relaxation - and then move on! For those of you who just can't help yourself, there is a medicall button - and our medical teams are fast and discreet!
Or perhaps you'd like a massage?
Each suite comes with his and hers massage tables in a romantic candlelit environment. Let the masseuse clones of your choice soothe away your aches and cares with our lucious blends of aromatherapy oils. Or treat your clone to a wicked erotic massage - costumes are available in the closet!
So, now, you're relaxed, you're soothed and stroked, why not relax by the fire?
Luxurious fur rugs are standard fittings in front of our open fires, so you can be warm and comfortable, no matter what you are doing!
(Or if it's not open fire weather - try the same thing on the fur rug in this cosy nook, without the fire!)
Perhaps you're into water sports? Well, in addition to the multitude of pools and pool bars in Aby's lair for social activities, she decided that private water sports would also be offered. So each suite comes with its own . . .
The look is different, depending on the suite, but just as examples, here are some of our range of indoor pools, just a hop, skip and a splash away from your bedroom!
All ot the pools come with atrium glass roofing so you can enjoy the sunshine and still maintain your privacy. What better way to get an allover tan!! But, in the interests of skin safety, there are shutters to keep out the sun if you prefer to forego the sunscreen!
Of course, water sports also includes the ever popular spa, and each suite has a lovely in ground spa in a garden room.
It comes complete with a fire place to warm the air on those chilly days, and a cleverly hidden refrigerator so you don't have to go far to indulge in champagne and strawberries!
But the great outdoors is also not without its charms, especially at the beach house! So we include some special features in the private grounds of your suite. How about swimming outdoors?
This tiny pool will allow you to swim short laps, or simply laze in the water while smelling the sea breezes.
An outdoor spa is also a feature of each suite, with a number of models available.
There's a standard in ground spa in every garden.
And we've also thought about the joys ov enjoying a spa while taking in the ocean view - so there's a special balcony in every suite where you can do just that! This also features a retractable awning so you can enjoy a hot spa on a rainy day while taking in nature's beauty.
And Major Abydos, being Irish, couldn't resist it when she found this little place that specialises in making hot tubs out of whiskey barrels!! We have talked her out of filling them with whiskey, but they are a fun addition to your suite's private garden!
One last feature in your suite's private garden, a charming gazebo for parties or a little outdoor fun without the outdoors intruding!
Lovely roomy structures with all mod cons - including the refrigerator for the champagne!
