| It was maximum points for both the first team and the reserves this weekend in the teams respective league fixtures. The first team were away to last seasons Division 2 champions Bodie Lodge, and despite going 1-0 down, were 4-1 winners inspired by last seasons strike force James Sweeny and Jamie Forrest. Meanwhile the Reserves got there first ever league points with a triumphant 8-3 defeat of Riverside RST in front of a packed Curtlee Hill crowd. Quintin Allen scored 5 of the goals with Paul Watts(2) and Tony Basham adding to the tally. Both First team manager Simon Newman and Reserves boss Jim Harris were over the moon with the results. "We played superb today, and like last season defending brilliantly" Said Newman. "It was great to have Gaz back and the two new lads were fantastic" Speaking on behalf of the reserves Jim Harris was thrilled with the application of his players. "We all said before the game that communication was the key today, and we knew we all had to know what we were doing and who was around us.
