| The Collie (Rough & Smooth) Society of Western Australia was formed in 1988 with a view to becoming part of the Australian National Collie Council and being eligible to hold a National Collie Show. This was achieved in October 1997 when Western Australia hosted the 5th Collie National Show. We were honoured to have the Baroness Dina Von Hahn (Germany) judge this show which was an outstanding success. |
| The club annually holds one Championship Show and Open Show in May each year and our annual Championship Show held at the end of August. We also try to hold a "fun match" each year to encourage participation from the "non-showing" collie owners. We produce a bi-monthly newsletter for members to keep them in touch with the goings on and publish helpful hints and advice for the collie owner. We welcome members whether it be pet, obedience or show and enquiries can be made to Sally Harding regarding membership.
