Nothing new to report....that's why the delay in updating the website.  I am just so boring there is just nothing to say.  All is well, so I guess that's good, but today I sit at 81 pounds lost, so really not a good month at all.  I just bought a small hand-held blender to start drinking protein shakes.  Yes, I delayed starting to drink them because I didn't have a small blender...lol....I know, I know, I'm an idiot!! lol  I really believe my slow weight loss has to do with not eating enough or getting in adequate protein. If I'm taking in 400-500 calories a day, I'm lucky.  And, forget counting protein grams, it's dismal....so I think this is the week I begin to find a protein drink I like and chug a few down each day to help me get in my protein...wish me luck!  If anyone has any suggestions, please email me.

I picked up my bike at lunchtime today after it's spring tune up.  I have to give it a good washing and polish up the chrome and I'll be ready for the season.  I haven't washed the bike (ever) and it looks like it needs it.  I think leaving it down the shore and exposed to the elements (even in the house) can ruin a good bike so I have to give it a little more attention than I normally did.  The bike is a really nice 27" Trek and it's about 3 years old.  I bought it when I was riding a lot and then I lost the urge to exercise and eat right and my riding became non-existant.  So I'll be bringing it down to the beach this weekend and take it for a spin, I will hope to ride at least 5 miles each day.  Hope my hiney can take it!! lol

Well tonight is the last night for
The Osbournes.  I cannot tell you how addicted I am to this program.  I think it's hysterical and even though I think sub-titles could be beneficial (Ozzy is a little hard to understand), I think it's a huge crack-up!  I will miss it very much and am so glad that they are coming back again next year.  Guess I have to just count the days to when The Soprano's start up again (hey, does anyone know when they are going to start again?..I have no idea.).

Oh well, that's it for now...hope you all are doing well, drop me a line if you have any questions or sign the guest book!! (*hint hint*).  I will write again after I begin the protein shakes and tell how terrible or tolerable they are....
till next time :)

FYI on The Soprano's, it's not starting up until September 15th!!!! Yep, you read that correctly, I cannot believe the delay!!!!  After I mentioned it on yesterday's post, I went to the HBO site and there was the info.  Yikes, that's amazing.  Guess I'll have to watch season 3 now to remember what happened last year...I'm kinda depressed, 'cause I LOVE that show!

I just found out that I can eat Taco Bell's Tacos.  They are delish!!  Absolutely fabu!!  I went the other night to get dinner (I was going to have tuna but then decided, hey let's try Taco Bell).  Anyhoo, went and got that and it was really wonderful.  I guess the taco itself is so thin and crispy and the beef well cooked, my little pouch loved it and didn't complain one bit.  I even put on 3 packages of hot sauce (lol) and it was yummmy for my tummy....lol.  (yes I'm losing it!!!)  I can't tell you the last time I had something that tasted so delicious to me...just fabulous.  Also, they are so cheap.  Since I had surgery, I'm such a cheap date.  Me and my Mom ate at Taco Bell that night and we got 3 Taco's (she had 2 and I had 1) and it came to $2.48 (I think).  Sheesh, can you complain about that price?? lol   Sooooo, all you post-op people, if you haven't tried Taco Bell Taco's, please do, they are filled with great protein and vitamins (I went to the
Taco Bell website and checked everthing out, click on the red and go check it out for yourself).  I know a lot of people talk about the refried beans, but there is a lot of fat in that dish, so I stay away from that...but these Taco's are yummy!  :)

I think I'm down another pound, that would make 82, but I don't write it in stone until it appears again the 2nd day.  I'm such a slow loser, ugh!  I guess I shouldn't complain, it is going down, but just not as fast as I'd wish.  My exercise could be better (when I walked last week, I walked TOO fast and pulled the muscles in both calves.  In fact, it was kinda in the front of both legs by my shin bone..it hurt, let me tell you).  Ugh, it was painful, so I had to sit with the heating pad on all week and now I'm back in business.  After I type this I'm out to the garage to walk for at least 30 mins.    I can't wait for the weekend to clean my bike and then take it for a spin.  I am curious to see how far I can go on the bike before my hiney starts screaming (lol).  I remember last year I rode the bike one and only one time (with my niece at the beach).  Not only was I 80 pounds heavier, my hiney was screaming after two houses, let alone two blocks.  I only went riding that night because she begged me, but after that ride, I knew I had to do something about my weight, it was very depressing to think of how far I let myself go.  A few years before I was riding 30 miles a weekend and now after one block I was dying....
it was just sad, sad, sad.
:'(

Okie dokie, I'm just so glad to be where I am today, only more goodness to come.  I guess
that's all for now...enjoy this beautiful day...
till next time :)
