The contract must be in writing on behalf of both parties. The agreement cannot be modified, altered or terminated with written consent.

� words should be straight forward, basic and understandable


� should be written for target audience


� always consider the worst case scenario


� consistent wording must be kept throughout


� avoid being wordy


� use headings, numbers and paragraphs for different demands


� be precise with time frames


� use lists to highlight items
